hey y'all! i have come up with a NEW AND IMPROVED 50 things about me:

hey y'all! i started this site because i'm really tired of just being happy on my other one. i can't really express how i'm feeling unless i'm feeling happy. i just need a place to be me. to be me whether i'm happy or sad. hence the title of my xanga.

let me give you a little info about me. better yet, i'll list 50 facts about myself:

1)my name is gretchen

2)i have one whole sister kirsten, one half sister sara, and one half brother in-law greg.

3)greg is the only person in my family who will play Clue with me voulentarily because i totally kick ass at that game

4)i play piano (very well i might add)

5)i have a huge crush on Orlando Bloom (but i'm not one of those idiotic fan girls who hate it when he dates or thinks i'm going to marry him or anything)

6)my middle name is lynn and i love it

7)i love hip-hop and i currently take it at zenon at downtown mpls

8)i have a tiny house

9)i wear contacts/glasses

10)when i was little, i had to wear an eyepatch because my left eye is lazy

11)i have had a grand total of one boyfriend. when i was in 3rd grade. ya, i'm pathetic.

12)i'm extremely scarcastic

13)i average a 3.88-4.0 gpa

14)i'm an extreme realist, while being an optimist

15)i play volleyball

16)caffene doesn't make me really hyper, it just makes me really mello, but stay awake longer

17)there are countless of people who have benifited from my ability to control my self

18)i go through phases. currently i'm in my elvis phase.

19)i hate shaving my legs. it takes me forever!

20)i hate it when people wRiTe LiKe tHiS. you might as well not waste the extra time it takes you to write like that and just write like a normal person.

21)the only abbreviations i really use are "lol, brb, and omg". i hate it when people go "idk, lylas, ttyl, etc." really dumb

22)i hate it when people use internet slang (such as "bf") in real life. it's not like it's harder to say "boyfriend" than "bf". unless you have some strange problem. in that case, you need some serious therapy.

23)i'm a virgin

24)my favorite color is pink

25)i love musicals. my favorite one is West Side Story. CATS is a close 2nd

26)i crack my knuckles

27)i own a bikini, but i have yet to wear it in public

28)i'm a natural blonde

29)i have some genetic mutation where it makes it EXTREMELY difficult for me to tan. very annoying

30)i used to be a really incredibly mean person in kindergarden-6th grade, yet thought i was nice

31)i wish i was skinnier

32)in truth, i really don't like one of my friends

33)i can't stand people who don't have a mind of their own (hence the reason i don't like her)

34)i also can't stand people who don't take responsibilty for their actions

35)i listen to people very well, even if i don't agree with what they're saying

36)i believe that if you are complaning about something, yet you do nothing to change it, then you have no right to complain about it (another reason why i don't like her)

37)i lust for all things juicy

38)i'm obsessed with my eyebrows. i honestly pluck them every day

39)i can be easily amused

40)i barely ever get really mad, but if i do, watch out!

41)i can give myself every lecture my parents have ever given me. they have yet to full understand this and continue to give me these lectures.

42)my absolute favorite tv show is Veroinca Mars. i really hope her and logan hook up.

43)most of the tv shows i watch (veronica mars, friends, america's next top model, etc) i watch on a tiny black and white tv my sister gave me, because my parents wouldn't let me watch those shows if they knew i was watching it. they didn't let me even watch alias untill i convinced them that "it wasn't too violent for me, there really isn't any bad language, and that it wouldn't detract from my piano or school work". honestly, my parents need to get smarter.

44)i love oldies. not just music, old movies too.

45)i have a bad habit of interrupting people when they talk. this is because with my friends, they all know that if i have something to say, then they just let me say it, or the just interrupt me and continue what they're saying. me and my friends are pretty tight.

46)i'm a pretty good judge of character, but i can be pretty shallow sometimes. and i know i'm being shallow too, but i ususally get over myself.

47)one of my favorite books EVER is "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton

48)i hate bad grammer (ex. funner or funnest, best-er, double negatives, etc.) yet i really can't spell that well

49)i argue a lot. just ask anyone in my classes. they'll tell you.

50)i either want to be an actress, lawyer, CEO of a huge company (not self started. something high profile), a dancer, or a pianist
