I ate cherries on Monday, May. 31, 2004 @ 6:56 p.m.
and it tasted like happy memorial day

boy, am i glad that this weekend is over. now most of you are probably thinking, "what is wrong with this girl?! i want this weekend to last forever!" i'll tell you. my aunt mary-jo, uncle kevin, and 3 yr old cousin levi came to vist. here's pretty much how my weekend went down:

saturday: it was ok. we went to camp snoopy and my pants (well, the knees of my pants) got soaked! ON THE LOG CHUTE! THE THING WHERE YOU NEVER GET WET!!! that was cheap. anyway, after that we just went home.

sunday: get up and everyone is cleaning franticly, so i get to join them (and we had already cleaned our house once this weekend! jeeze). and then everyone except me and levi went to a lynx game. so guess what that means? babysitting. yup, i got to babysit. and do you know how flippin boring it is??? all he wants to do is play candy land and uncle wigglies. and know what? out of the, like, 10 times we played, i only won 2 TIMES!! ONLY 2!! i was so jipped. i was getting pretty sick of bored games, so i said, how about we make some popcorn and watch a movie? he agrees and we go into the kitchen. so, i stick the popcorn in the microwave and go to get a big bowl from the cabnet. well (lucky me) i drop the glass measuring cup and BANG! there it is. glass all over the floor with levi on a chair in the middle of it. so i tell him he has to stay on the chair (duh) and so do you know what he does? he takes out 14 paper cups, sets one on the counter and says, "how many cups are there?" i say, "one" and then he sets one more there, and repeats the question and i say "two". then he repeats this with all of them. so we get to 14 and i'm thinking "thank GOD" but guess what? he wanted to see if i could count backwards. so he takes one away and asks "how many are there?"

yeah.

anyway, so they FINALLY get home (after watching little mermaid 2, and haveing "titanic tip and daring dash, adventures slash explorers" stuck in my head the rest of the day) and then we eat yadda yadda and then, outta the blue, uncle kevin paid me for babysitting. here's my mind:

huh? money? YEAH BABY! YAH, THAT'S RIGHT, YOU'D BETTER PAY UP! oh, and ps. i'm NEVER gonna babysit this kid again.

monday: guess where we went? the zoo. we could have gone to camp snoopy, we could have gone anywhere! but noooooooooo, we have to go to the zoo (aka torture for feet and mind in which you are dragging a 3 yr. old on your hand and look at the komodo dragon and saying, "wow! that's super coool! did you see it levi? it's awesome!"). but then again, i've always hated the zoo. ever since i was a child. i think i was a cinicle child. because i mean, what kind of children hate the zoo? cinicle children, that's who. (whoa, that rhymes). then after walking around forever we went to perkins, ate for about 2 HOURS! good Lord, grown-ups take FOREVER! oh, wait, i forgot the best part. we went and saw bugs in 3-D. yup. it was about this praying mantis called herdragina (phonetical spelling) and a catapiller named diphona-something-or-other. i'm serious! it was this whole documentary on these two bugs, and in the end, the praying mantis ate the butterfly/catterpiller. oh, and on the credits, they were playing this song on how this bug couldn't find a mate and it went to the ugly bug ball and then he found a mate, and they went on their honeymoon, all thanks to the ugly bug ball. yes, thank you ugly bug ball.

gretti

ps. is mufreezbro a real place? because that name is playing inside my head and i know it was the name of something....anyways, that was random, and i'm tired, so i'm going to go now.

miss any?
