i'm FINALLY back!

i missed my city.

i missed my airplanes.

i missed my bright lights and sky scrapers.

did you know they have NO sky scrapers in North Dakota? my cousin didn't even know what one was.

seriously.

anyway, it's pretty late, so i can't really take too long. i'm thinkin about sneaking on here later.....

anyway, it took us only 8 hours to get to our hotel. now, i know you are all like, "WHAT? ONLY 8 hours?" but, normally it takes us about 10 hours, so i think that we did very, VERY well.

we ate at this one icky resteraunt, this buffett delie where they only have meat and stuff soaked in grease. well, my dad said i can't have any of the meat (except steak, but i didn't want the steak) and none of the deep fat fried stuff, so i had fish, sprite, and some ice cream. oh, and some mashed potatoes. the mashed potatoes were the ONLY good things. the ice cream was too frozen. o well, that's life.

ok, so we get there, and we visit my grandma, and then go to bed. it's now, about 10:30 and i'm about ready to hit the hay, but noooooooooooooo. these stupid kids happen to think that yelling and screaming in the pool (we had a pool-side room) would be fun. never mind that someone (who has had a horrible cough for about two weeks now. every time i cough, it feels like i'm hacking up a lung) is trying to sleep. oh no. my feelings are of absolutly NO importance what-so-ever. anyway, the pool closed at 11, but they still weren't gone, so we called security, and they kicked them out. actually, we called the lobby and lobby called security.

and THEN they kicked them out.

anyway, the next day we went to my grandma's again to see my auntie mary-jo, uncle kevin, and levi. levi just turned 5 and is very cute and well behaved. well, as it turns out, we hadn't bought levi a present yet, so my mom went out to buy one and when she came back (she bought some hot wheels, he likes these) i was instructed to wrap them.

all i have to say is curse the man who came up with the packaging on these things.

they are the HARDEST things to wrap on the planet.

well, maybe. i haven't wrapped all the presents on the planet....

anyway, then my auntie collene, uncle al, angela, and hope (if they don't have a title infront of them, they are my cousins) came and we started chatting and all that. then my uncle al, auntie caren, josh, nicole, and rachel came. it was great. i got 10 bucks from levi (well, his parents, but levi handed it to me). oh, i'll make a list of everything i got for christmas/birthday

i got some pretty nice stuff, huh :D.

anyway, the rest of what happend is really boring, except the last day we were there.

i went over to this house that belongs to this great-aunt lois of mine (who knew) in the country. and i do mean, in the country. it took us 1 1/2 hours to get there. and they have a barn. A BARN! and some really old barns and houses that look like they've been burned to a crisp, but we went in those anyway. we is me, angela, my second cousin (which i didn't know i had untill then) kimberly, kirsten, and hope. kimberly looks like a kimberly. she's really pretty and petite with hair kinda like mine only less frizzy and poufy. and she has the CUTEST brother. he's about 17 and plays football (go figure, he's totally buff). also, i met all these 80 year old women i had no idea that i was realated too. infact, i met about 15 people that i had no idea that i was related to. well, the rest of my time there was REALLY boring, so i won't tell you about it. ok this is really random, but i have to say it. thank GOD that we don't have stage coach until JAN. 10!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!! wow, my dad let me stay on for a looooooong time, so i guess i shouldn't wear out my welcome and quite while i'm ahead, see ya!
