g'day mates

i am finally not lazy and will tell you how my second trip to ND went.

ok, we drove and drove and drove and drove............and we finally got to devils lake, where we were staying. we decided to go out to eat, and we went to this AWESOME chinese buffett. it was EXTREMELY good and VERY cheap. they even had crab legs for no extra charge! like, the real thing, mmmmmmmmmmmm! yummy. after that, we went to our hotel room, i sat in the hot tub, and we watched "The Even Steven's Movie" on disney. then, when we went to bed, my daddy was watching this interview of dolly parton, and for her music video, there was this alien that looked really scary. anyway, we stayed up untill 11:00 pm watching "I Dream of Jeneie"(sp). but then my mom was snoring so stinkin loud, that i had to go into the bathroom (which was very tiny) and shut the door. very early, my dad has to go into the bathroom (and doesn't know that i am in there) and opens the door on me, so i have to leave. and then when i wake up, i am very sore. after that, me and my mommy went to this store called Four Seasons. it has never worn brand name clothing marked waaaaaaaaaaay down. needless to say, i got alot of new, cute cloths (i am wearing the pants we bought right now). we went home and my dad couldn't find his pants. i thought we were going to repeat the whole, "OMG! WE HAVE TO GO GET NEW PANTS NOW!!!!!!!!" but thankfully, he had them. We got to the chaple at exactly 2:30, the groom was right behind us. well, the wedding started at 5:00, so we waited.

and waited some more

finally, ate 4:30, the people come, and we take their gifts (that was my job). the serimony only took 30 min. (thank God) and then we went to the reception.

but before i tell you about that, let me tell you about the church and the events that occured.

the church that we were at is reaaaaaaaaaaaly old. air conditioning? nope. comfy pews? not likely. bathroom? no, unless you call an out house a bathroom. it was SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO hot in the church, and there were TONS of flies (did i forget to metion no screens). now, these weren't those little tiny flies that are just annoying, these were those honkin, humongous, fat, hairy beasts. i'm not kidding. now we shall move on to the events. in the church guest book, i wrote my name and address, but for comments, i put, "MWA HA HAAAAAAAA!" hehe. now they are going to think that i did something really evil. MWA HA HAAAAAAAAA. *ahem* anyway, the pastor was really nervous cuz it was his first time doing this, so he was stumbling on words and everything. and the duet, oh..my...word.. it was the most HORRENDOUS thing that you have EVER heard. they totally KILLED the song. i'm not talking take a gun BANG, dead, i'm talking slowly cutting off the arms, legs, and finally, the head and driving the knife into it's heart. THAT'S how bad it sounded.

i am not kidding.

at the reception, THEY WOULD NOT LET ME EAT!!!!!!!! we were the first ones there, and i was DIEING OF STARVATION, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO we had to WAIT for everyone to get there, and the WAIT FOR OUR TABLES TO BE DISMISSED!!!! no joke. i felt like i was back in elemetary school, waiting for Ms. Uzzel to pick my table. it was so horrible. then we left early, cuz kirsten wasn't feeling well (but felt well enough to eat my mints, i noticed). then we stayed up late watching this movie with Lucielle Ball and Desi Arnez. it was very funny. then we drove and drove and drove and drove and drove.......... all the way back home (now do you see why i felt too lazy to write this)

and that concludes my second visit to North Dakota
